Similarly to my day in the life posts<\/a>, I find it joyful to peruse my old currently posts<\/a> just as much as I love reading when other bloggers post them. It’s neat to see a snapshot in time; what life looks and feels like at a certain pin point. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, I’ve just sneaked into my room with my computer after having a girls’ sleepover in the living room. David has been gone for work, so we moved the table, spread out pillows and blankets, watched Highschool Musical, ate popcorn and ice cream sundaes, and, the girls’ favorite part, let Finley pile right on top and sleep with us. It was one of those sweet parenting moments you know you’ll hold onto. So for as long as the kids are still snoozing, I’m tucked away in here drinking my earl grey and typing this…<\/p>\n\n\n

Currently Reading<\/strong>: I recently finished The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo<\/a> which was really entertaining, like an insider view to old school Hollywood. Now I’ve switched gears and am reading Jon Acuff’s book Finish<\/a>, after heading him on a podcast. I’m only one chapter in but it is already speaking to me. I can see myself in a lot of what he says and I’m excited to see what I come away with at the end of the book that I can implement that will help me implement and finish some of the ideas in my head.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blog wise, I’m reading Julie<\/a>, Sarah<\/a>, Christina<\/a>, Jen<\/a>, and Shay<\/a> I’m really into old school blogging right now and am looking for others to read that share the day to day and thoughts about life. If you have any that you write or read, please share them with me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently Eating<\/strong>: real dinners. It’s probably the post vacation motivation and the fact that most of our evening activities haven’t started yet, because I’m enjoying cooking and eating good food. This week we had lemon rosemary roasted chicken<\/a>, ribeye with green beans and homemade rolls, and coconut curry soup<\/a> with the brown rice and millet ramen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
