The days sometimes seem to pass more slowly, but the weeks are beginning to fly by. How is that even possible? I’m 29 weeks pregnant, but am beginning to enjoy the counting down rather than counting up- so 11 weeks left!

This week Baby D is the size of a butternut squash at 17 inches long and weighing 3.1 pounds. How much is Mom weighing? 22.5 pounds up from the start. Sadly, not an inch taller 😉

How I’m Feeling

Though I still will claim to be feeling pretty darn good, I can tell I’m slowing down a bit. I’m waking up super early, which is making me sleepy come 3:00pm. I’m not usually taking naps though- just fighting through it.

The oversized beach ball under my dress is making things difficult. Simple tasks, like bending over to pull the laundry out of the washing machine or sitting up from a reclining position aren’t easy anymore.

But, because I must end on some optimism, Baby D’s kicks and wiggles keep getting stronger and I just stare at my stomach for long stretches of time watching it bounce all over the place. I love it! I keep trying to video some movement, but s/he must be a little camera shy 😉

What I’m Eating

You’ve seen a lot of it on W{we}AW and the other food posts this week, but it’s a lot more of the same.

How I’m Workin’ It

It looks a little something like this:

Monday: 45 minute elliptical + 20 minutes weights

Tuesday: 60 minutes yoga

Wednesday: 60 minute incline walking on treadmill + 20 minutes weights

Thursday: 45 minutes elliptical

Friday: Go wild… maybe elliptical or treadmill, maybe the bike. For about 45-60 minutes.

Sat-Sun: OFF. Though sometimes ‘off’ involves some swimming

This Past Week’s Highlights

I had my first baby shower and it was amazing! Family from Green Bay, Indiana, Pittsburgh and all over Georgia came into to join in on the celebration for Baby D. I was truly overwhelmed by the beautiful event and all the gifts we received for our sweet new addition. I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

"IMG_9374" "IMG_9383" "IMG_9398" With my lovely hostesses and Mom! Can you guess who the Nana-to-be is? Hint- she wouldn’t take her hands off my belly! She’s so cute 😉

"IMG_9390""IMG_9400" The scones were to DIE for… so, so so so good.

Can you tell I like purple?

All in all, another fabulous week is now behind me and 11 weeks left until we get to meet this bouncy resident in my belly. With a 3d ultrasound, another shower (!) and nursery progression coming up in the next few weeks, the excitement continues to build!
