Merry Piglets Tex-Mex restaurant we had walked past many times.

There was quite a wait when we arrived (Saturday night at prime time, so that makes sense). We put our name on the list for the 75 minute wait, but since they notify you by text, we were able to go wander some more.

The girls both decided on cap guns as their souvenir (Nana’s treat!) and it was so much fun to watch them act like cowgirls and duel each other. We visited the highly recommended MADE store and oogled their local crafts. I crushed hard on the National Parks Map!

By the time an hour had passed, the girls were getting tired and hungry (and I must admit, we were too). We headed back to the restaurant to order some lemonades and margaritas at the bar. Then we stood our front and watched the horse and carriage ride by with our refreshments.

It did the trick and soon enough we were seated and chowing down on chips, salsa, guac, and queso. It hit the spot!

It was a great way to spend our last night in Jackson. With full tummies we headed back to our place. Mom went to shower, so David, the girls, and I walked to the quiet street in front of our rental to enjoy the setting sun. The girls picked dandelions and we talked about wanting to come back to ski. A girl can dream…

It was such a beautiful way to end the night. As the next day, we’d be back on the road again!

We obviously hit our stride in Jackson and found a routine that worked well for us and our timeline!

[2133,2296
2385
