The mom and me version of last week\u2019s WIAW seemed to be a hit, so I kept it around for another week. Although I\u2019m an advocate of feeding your baby anyway that works best for you (purees, baby led weaning, spitting into their mouth like a bird<\/a>\u2026 ok, that\u2019s kind of gross to me!), these posts definitely illustrate why BLW works so well for us. Hailey and I get to eat together and prep work is minimal (BONUS!).<\/p>\n

Mom Breakfast<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cantaloupe and eggs scrambled with spinach, onion and mushrooms. Topped with goat cheese and Texas Pete.<\/p>\n

<\/div>Baby Breakfast<\/strong><\/p>\n

Honey I shrunk the breakfast, right? Mini cantaloupe (local, non-organic) cubes with pieces torn off on my scramble (just egg and organic spinach pieces).<\/p>\n

Mom Snack<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leftover sweet potato chili<\/a>, topped with plain Greek yogurt.<\/p>\n

Baby Snack<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even with 3 meals a day, Hailey nurses 4 times, too. These are her snacks.<\/p>\n

Mom Lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n

Whole wheat tortilla, topped with Lindsay\u2019s spicy feta dip<\/a> (great on wraps), broccoli slaw, spinach, onions, cannellini beans and a drizzle of Italian dressing.<\/p>\n

Whole wheat tortilla with mashed black beans and cheese. Broccoli (frozen, organic) on the side.<\/p>\n

I also ate 2 carrots and hummus while Hailey finished up. (Please notice Koda in her usual mealtime position.)<\/p>\n

Pre-Yoga Mom Snack<\/strong><\/p>\n

A mix of LOVE Grown Granola<\/a>, dried pomegranate seeds and some California Walnuts<\/a> they sent me to sample. It\u2019s an energy-packed snack and a great blend of carbs and fat before yoga-ing.<\/p>\n

We were rushed once we got home, so Hailey\u2019s dinner consisted of some (frozen, organic) peas, (conventional) sweet potato and (organic) red pepper. All cooked to be soft.<\/p>\n

We ate some homemade Chick-fil-A<\/a> with grill roasted broccoli. BBQ sauce for dipping.<\/p>\n

A bit later I snacked on some Pretzel Crisps and leftover spicy feta dip while I sipped on Throat Coat. My throat isn\u2019t feeling up to par still from the weekend. Guess I can\u2019t hang like I used to!<\/p>\n
