This post is brought to you by a Healthy Slice partner. Don’t forget to check out the awesome discount code at the end!

Meal delivery services are all the rage right now. And I totally get it– new meals to try, the ability to pick your dietary specifics, the convenience. I’ve tried several meal plan services and while many are similar, creating tasty meals, they usually require a decent amount of prep work and 45 minutes of cooking time. When I’m in the mood to take some time learning a new cooking technique, it’s awesome. But for busy day to day life it doesn’t always fit into my schedule.

This is why 80Fresh (post sponsor!) is unique. In fact, I feel that it is more of a blend between personal chef, personal nutritionist, and meal delivery service.

I love the convenience of having fresh food delivered to my doorstep as much as the organization nerd in me loves looking at the healthy meals lined up so nicely in my fridge.

Now let me share with you why 80Fresh is so helpful to so many:

It is the program for the single woman who works her tail off during the day and wants to come home to a wholesome, high-quality meal that wasn’t previously frozen or full of preservatives. (I’m talking to myself circa 2006 when Lean Cuisines ruled my life)

It’s the plan for busy couples that just want to eat real food for dinner and don’t have the time to prep veggies for an hour beforehand.

It’s the service for the mom whose husband travels or works long hours and can’t quite bring herself to cook a full healthy meal for just herself after an exhausting day, but still wants a delicious dinner that will help her reach her health goals.

In fact, when David had a few evening work commitments two weeks ago, 80Fresh was able to provide a quick healthy dinner after staying too late at the playground. I had ordered two of each meal, which fed both the girls and me.

Shrimp and Cauliflower Grits

Since the prep work is done for you, all meals take less than 15 minutes to get on the table. The direction card outlines the simple steps to take to pull the meal together as well as break down all the nutritional info.

This is incredibly helpful to those counting calories or macros, as real food often doesn’t have this kind of information so readily available.

[Tweet “How to eat healthy when you have no time to cook with @80_Fresh”]

Ginger Marinated Pork with Sesame Snap Peas and Rice

80Fresh sources locally as much as possible and all the meats used are hormone and antibiotic free. Their weekly menu changes each week but their most popular meals stay in heavy rotation. I love the option to choose meals based on dietary preference (gluten-free, vegetarian, paleo, etc). Even though I don’t eat exclusively paleo, I much prefer the unique carb choices like the shrimp and cauliflower grits (which were delicious!).

Portion-wise, the meals were ideal for my lunch or dinner. And the taste? Incredibly fresh and flavorful!

Thai Sweet Chili Mahi with Baby Bok Choy and Coconut Rice

My goal for the meals I eat is that they leave me feeling satisfied but not weighed down. The fresh food in 80Fresh’s meals do just that and are seasoned so well. I didn’t even want to add Chalupa to any of them, which is saying a lot for me.

It’s the time of year when we are all trying to focus a bit more on our health. To reach those goals, I’m a huge advocate of meal planning and prep, and will be filling in the gaps with 80Fresh. I’m so excited for you to try them too!

You can check out their weekly menu and use the code SLICE30 for 30% (!) off your first order.
