Today for Munchkin Meals I\u2019m sharing some fun lunch ideas just as the kids are getting geared up to go back to school. They are balanced, healthy meals that you can totally customize to fit your child\u2019s tastes.<\/p>\n
Since I snapped these pictures, I’ve invested in this lunchbox<\/a>. It may cause a little sticker shock, but I’ve found it is SO worth it, as it is easy to clean and so durable. We’ll be using it for years!<\/em><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n 1. The Yogurt Parfait Bar<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n 2% Greek yogurt, Garden Lite’s Carrot Berry Muffin<\/a> (you can put from freezer right into the lunch box and it will be thawed by eating time), crushed Coconut Almonds<\/a> with cacao nibs, Love Grown Oat Clusters<\/a> and strawberries.<\/p>\n Switch it up suggestion: Sub cottage cheese for the Greek yogurt!<\/p>\n 2. Sandwich Kabobs<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Cocktail straws threaded through bread, grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese and Applegate Farms<\/a> Roasted Turkey with red pepper strips, blueberries and Pacific Food\u2019s Chocolate Almond Milk.<\/p>\n Switch it up suggestion: Ham instead of turkey or add a small side of ranch for dipping!<\/p>\n (The kabobs were a bigger hit with Hailey than I even anticipated!)<\/p>\n 3. The Snack Plate<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Justin\u2019s Maple Almond Butter Packet<\/a>, sliced string cheese, edamame, grapes and whole grain crackers.<\/p>\n Switch it up suggestion: Graham crackers instead of regular crackers, plus cacao nibs to make it more of a sweet treat!<\/p>\n 4. The Classic<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Peanut butter, honey and coconut flake sandwich with carrots, pear slices and and Pacific Food\u2019s Vanilla Hemp Milk.<\/p>\n Switch it up suggestion: Almond butter if your school is peanut-free, add banana slices on the sandwich too!<\/p>\n 5.
