Your news segments are so cool! Confession: When I watched it yesterday, I heard you say “chia seeds” and was confused for a second because I have ALWAYS pronounced them “chai” as in chai tea. Oh my gosh, I felt so dumb when I looked it up and realized I’ve been wrong this whole time. So thank you for teaching me something new š Have a great trip to Boston! I love those gifs, so cute about Hailey and David.

I’m excited for our anniversary tomorrow! We’re going to see Star Trek and then eat Thai food, without baby. Heaven.
I love that GIF of Hailey’s reaction to being alone with her daddy. Pretty much what Penny does… This morning I was leaving for the gym, she started sobbing and trying to put her shoes on, saying “Outside! Outside!” Mama’s girls….
Giselle@myhealthyhappyhome says
Oh you will have so much fun on your girls weekend! It’s always great to get in some girl time especially once you have a kid!
I love the upcoming Munchkin Meals idea. I always wonder what other kids are actually eating on their plates. I know my son doesn’t always eat it all so that will be a fun one!
Parita says
Have fun in Boston! Try to go to Pizzeria Regina in Little Italy. It is by far some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. š And then afterwards, go to Mike’s Pastry. Your taste buds will thank me!

I love this! (Even if I AM reading this on Monday. :)) Can’t wait to read the recap of your trip, and actually I’m also excited to see your Munchkin Meals on Thursday, because I really have no idea how much kids eat, and things like that are so interesting to me. (And that makes me somewhat of a nerd I think.)
Sarah @ The Smart Kitchen says
I can never decide what ingredient to highlight either. No wonder my blog post titles get so wordy.
Elizabeth says
Can these be done with quick cooking oats?
Erin L says
We love these! But what could I sub for honey- Iām thinking some maple syrup? Thank you!
★★★★★
Brittany Dixon says
Yes, maple syrup or brown rice syrup should work, but you may need to play around with the amount. I would start with slightly less than the recommended amount of honey. Let me know!
Erin L says
I subbed maple syrup and added a bit more PB to make it stick better. It tasted delicious, but was a smidge more dry than the honey version. My daughter said she preferred the maple syrup one! šš½
Brittany Dixon says
Excellent! Thanks so much for the feedback š
Erin L says
These are delicious!! A family favorite š
