These authentic Greek style lamb meatballs are versatile and flavorful. They can be tossed into Greek salads, served on top of pasta salads, stuffed into pita pockets, or served with toothpicks and Tzatziki for a crowd-pleasing appetizer.
One of my favorite recipes I’ve ever posted on my site is the recipe I’ve used for years to make Greek style burgers. They are made with ground lamb and are bursting with authentic Greek flavor. I’ve been making them for years, but recently have been switching their presentation, from burgers meatballs. Why?
Because these authentic Greek style lamb meatballs are not only delicious, they are versatile and great fit in all kinds of dishes. They can be served over greens for a flavorful and filling Greek salad.
They can be served on their own, with toothpicks for serving and Tzatziki for dipping. We like to serve these with my famous lettuce-less Greek salad, but it can also be mixed in with my favorite zesty Greek pasta salad for a hearty and crowd-pleasing meal.
If you’ve never tried them before, then you need to stop whatever you’re doing right now and immediately make this recipe for authentic Greek style lamb meatballs. They are made entirely from scratch with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and a delicious combination of flavorful herbs and spices. I know some people are intimidated by lamb, but it’s pretty widely available now, and as long as you are mindful not to overwork it with your hands, the result is more tender and flavorful than beef by a long shot (in my humble opinion).
I’m so excited to share these with you and can’t wait to hear what you think!

We bought some lamb from a local farmer and I knew immediately I should try one of your recipes with it. After you shared the link in your IG stories I cooked these up and they were a HIT! I’ll definitely need to double the recipe next time, because my girls devoured these. Thank you! ❤️
