These kid-friendly Frozen Greek Yogurt drops are great for kids of all ages, from baby led weaning to toddler snacks and beyond, they are a healthy, delicious treat!
They are easy to make and taste like dessert. Iβve been giving Hailey a handful or so at the end of her meals and she always mmmβs her way through them and asks for more. These are one treat I donβt mind her eating until sheβs had her fill.
All you need is Greek yogurt, a cookie sheet, ziplock bags and a freezer.
Spoon the yogurt into the bag. Squeeze the air out and zip it shut. With scissors, cut off the corner tip of the bag to create a small hole.
Then squeeze out your drops!
Freeze for at least an hour, then scrape off the tray and enjoy! For storing, keep them in an airtight bag or rinse out the container they came in and use plastic wrap.
The best part of these treats is you can choose your favorite flavors. We did Cabotβs vanilla bean Greek yogurt, plain, with sprinkles, and with dark chocolate chips.
I also used our favorite dip combo to create creamy little dessert bites.
But Haileyβs favorite so far has been Cabotβs strawberry Greek yogurt drops, both with and without sprinkles.

Unfortunately, none of the stores in my area sell Cabot greek yogurt (but thankfully, they do sell the vermont cheddar cheese – my absolute favorite)…though I think these would work great with my favorite Fage Greek yogurts. They look like so much fun to make, too!

Where did you ge the Cabot Greek yogurt? I am in a yogurt rut w Avery, she has always loved yogurt and now she will only occ eat the yo baby blueberry when I pack it on school days. I tried the chobani banana / peanut butter mix and she ate all the Graham crackers, but wouldn’t touch the dip!? Grrrrr… Maybe Cabot would be a better option. I am always open to new ideas and brands!

I made these today and they were a big hit with our 2.5 year old and I thought they were delicious too. I love all the variations you could do too. I am from the land of Cabot(Vermont!) and so it was easy to find the yogurt which was so yummy. Thanks for the great idea!

These do look yummy, a firm favorite with the kids I bet.

Can you use regular non-Greek yogurt? For some reason, the Greek stuff hurts my little guy’s tummy.
Brittany Dixon says
You certainly could try it! Regular yogurt tends to be runnier than Greek, so I’m not sure the drop shape would hold up as well. Perhaps try making them smaller? Or you could blend the yogurt first with bananas or xanthan gum to try and thicken it, then make the drops!
If you try it- please let me know!

Do these melt quickly? I would like to do this for me while at school for between classes but just wondered if they will melt and I’ll have a bag of yougurt.
Brittany Dixon says
They do melt quickly and are best eaten within 15 minutes of taking them out of the freezer!

Hello! I’m interested in making these but what kind of paper is pictured? Thanks!
Brittany Dixon says
Parchment or wax paper work well! I hope you enjoy them!
Aliza says
I think I added to many sprinklesππ
Heather says
How long do you think these will last in the freezer? I would love to give these to my 15 month old as a snack but don’t want to give too many at once.
Brittany Dixon says
They will easily last 2 weeks and maybe longer. Store in an airtight container for best results!
Natalie says
Would they still be good for a school snack after a few hours out of the freezer lunch box?
Brittany Dixon says
I don’t think they will last that long. They are best eaten directly from the freezer so they don’t melt.
Trish says
Would you mind if I copy your recipe for your yogurt bites? I have a grandbaby that would love that. You are very creative.
Nav says
Do you store the drops in the fridge or freezer after scraping off the baking sheet?
Brittany Dixon says
In the freezer! π
Natalie says
So I assume they need to stay frozen or they melt, right?
Brittany Dixon says
Yes, that is correct
Arica Lingerfelt says
Do you store in the refrigerator also? Great healthy, snack idea. Thanks!
Brittany Dixon says
They will melt if kept for long in the fridge, but they can be enjoyed directly from the freezer! π
Arica says
Thank you!
Carissa says
I’m going to have to try this!my son is so picky, but I think he might try the Greek yogurts with sprinkles!! Thanks for a great idea!
